All about the El Pilar.
This is a site bordering Guatemala. In fact, a huge portion of this site sits inside the border with Guatemala which makes it a very interesting international affair.
El Pilar is about 12 miles from San Ignacio town and we travel on mostly dirt road into the broadleaf forest through the village of Bullet Tree Falls which is on the Mopan River.
This trip can also be combined with another Maya site or with Lucas’ Botanical Garden.
