There are many places in Belize still very wild and the equestrian trips take us through these places.Most of the times the rides are through fields and pastures and then under the canopy of the forest. There are a few times when the horse back raises take us out unto the highways to get to some more excavated Maya sites but for the most part, the rides are wild and free.
The cowboys are all involve with their animals and their animals love them back. The cowboys have full control over their steeds that anyone can ride confidently on the beasts as they waddle, canter and run full out – at any speeds you prefer.
The rides take us through areas of undisturbed forests where that space becomes a tree and medicinal trail experience. The rides take us to undisturbed mounds – ancient Maya cities that are not excavated – its a wonderful contrast to the other well-visited, well-excavated ancient Maya Cities such as Xunantunich and Cahal Pech.
